“Gathering of the Green”

The “Gathering of the Green” was held in Davenport, Iowa on March 17-20, 2010 with many members from the GKCTCC in attendance. Ken Buell had a club booth at the show that included our 501 (C) (3) status, a plow video and other items. Thanks to Ken for designing, setting up and maintaining the display. Activities at the show included; (1) field trips to the John Deere plants or other points of interest, (2) breakout sessions on a variety of topics, (3) displays, and (4) vendor items for sale. Area club members in attendance included; Ken Buell, Don Hrabik, John Didde, Bary and Ann Porter, Wes Storm, Glenn Ratzlaff, Herman and Kim Sachse, Harold Hatfield, Kenny Read, and Bary Dahmer. The weather was great during the show but some of the members who came back on Saturday should have bought more tractor wheel weights, because of snowy conditions in the Kansas City area.
