Calling all John Deere Enthusiasts
“Gathering of the Green” 2012

Hundreds of antique John Deere tractor enthusiasts from across the United States, Canada and around the world will travel to the Quad Cities and Davenport, Iowa in March to attend the “Gathering of the Green” conference.

March 14, 15, 16 and 17, 2012, are the dates for the 7TH “Gathering” to be held in the River Center, Davenport, Iowa. Back by popular demand, the convention-style conference will offer admirers of John Deere antique two-cylinder and New Generation tractors and implements an opportunity to enjoy workshops and to shop the vendor area. For those interested, there will be evening speakers, a fun auction, and many, many more activities.

Once again, members of the four sponsoring John Deere antique tractor clubs located in central and northern Illinois and eastern Iowa have worked for many months to put together another outstanding conference that will interest Quad Cities area residents as well as John Deere two-cylinder and New Generation tractor fans from across the nation and around the world.

Sixty workshops and drop-in sessions will be presented over three days – Thursday, Friday and Saturday - and 70+ vendors, who just may have that special treasure you’ve been looking for, will be available at the River Center. These vendors are offering services; new, used, and reproduction parts; manuals; books; tires; signs; JD decals; art; clothing; and memorabilia.
