It seemed it would never warm up this Spring, but we know one thing for sure -- the tractors will. At the present time we have around 83 paid members for 2011, which is a little less than last year at this time. A new development this year was the establishment of a much needed budget. Hopefully Linda and Bev are hard at work on the club cookbook as a fundraiser. We had a great time at Joe and Lori Meyer’s Overland Tow business on Sunday, April 3, 2011 for the club meeting and barbecue. Thanks to Joe, Lori and Spike for the hospitality and delicious barbecue. The 6th Dream Factory Tractor Cruise, Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, MO was an overwhelming success under blue skies. A special thanks to Dan Hanna and the committee for a job well done. The American Royal and Missouri State Fair Parades are always an exciting time later in the year and we look forward to being a part of them. Thanks to all the club members for everything they do for the club. As I said before, it takes a while to "getter done" but they "gotter done". Hope to see you at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame on June 5, 2011 for our club picnic and meeting; and of course the other events throughout the year.
