Tractor Daze (Farm Heritage Days) -- July 8-9, 2011

Tractor Daze is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 8-9, 2011 at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, KS. July 8, 2011 is scheduled as setup day. Club activities this year will involve around “tractors” and will include: a large tractor pull, garden tractor pull, 2 pedal tractor pulls, parade of power, tractor display, and tractor games. Other activities taking place this year will include activities provided by the following clubs: Caterpillar, Red Power, and antique trucks. This year we will use Larry Richard’s (Draggin Wagon) sled again for the large tractor pull. We will use Phil Parson’s (Old Yeller) sled again for the garden tractor pull. The (Old Yeller) sled is self-propelled so the help needed for the garden tractor pull will be somewhat less than the large tractor pull. The (Draggin Wagon) sled will need a pull back tractor. Mike Corum has offered to bring the pull back tractor. As you can see a lot of help will be needed for the action packed day so everyone can find time to get around and enjoy the day.
