American Royal
Parade - September 27, 2008

The Greater Kansas City Two Cylinder Club participated in the American
Royal Parade on Saturday, September 27., 2008 in Kansas City, MO. The
theme this year was Royal Reflections. We had 24 tractors in the parade
along with a float (Other Dears) made up of wives, children and friends.
It was a wonderful day for a parade which accounted for the many viewers
along the route that took us from Crown Center to the Sprint Center.
Following the parade the club had a trailer gate party which included
grilled goodies, pot luck dishes and desserts of all sorts. The
combination of a large number of tractors, beautiful weather and
excellent food made for an enjoyable time by all. The Kansas City Star
on Sunday said we had won second place in the Specialty Category. What
else is there to say -- except to say “thank you” for coming.
