The first meeting of
the year was held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Trailside Center
in Kansas City, MO.
Even though it was Valentine’s Day we still had 32 in attendance.
The weather kept some of the people away, but the diehards showed up.
Minutes of the November 2009 meeting were amended to show the November
2010 meeting being hosted by Duane Craig will be at the
Frontier
Village in Adrian, MO.
Bary Porter provided a financial report.
Club officers for 2010 were installed as voted in at the November 1, 2009
meeting. The Western Farm Show on
February 19-21 was discussed.
Tractors on display will include:
Ken Buell (1969 JD 4020), Jim Arnote (1935 JDB), and Don Hrabik (1959 JD 430W).
Tractor Daze scheduled for July 10, 2010 was discussed.
Joe Steineger and Frank Van Fleet provided information on the status of
the National
Agricultural
Center
and Hall of Fame. Dan Hanna
presented information on the 5th Annual Dream Factory Tractor Cruise
scheduled for May 8, 2010. Ken
Buell provided information on the club booth that will be at the “Gathering of
the Green” on March 17-20, 2010 in
Davenport,
Iowa.
Five club buttons were identified for this year with a picture of a John
Deere D owned by Joe Meyer on the button.
Door prizes were won by Gloria Eagleburger and Jim Arnote.
