GKCTCC Meeting/Barbecue Mike and Karen Corum Residence
April 6, 2008---1:00 p.m.
The GKCTCC Meeting/Barbecue was held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 with the meeting
starting at 1:00 p.m. followed by a delicious barbecue dinner prepared by Mike
and Karen Corum. Many desserts and salads were brought by club members. Thirty
eight people were in attendance for the occasion. Thanks to Mike and Karen for
hosting the get-together. Major topics discussed included: 3rd Annual Dream
Factory Tractor Cruise on May 3rd, in Independence, MO., Tractors (Farm Heritage
Day) on Saturday July 12, at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame,
2008 Schedule of Events, club member shirts/sweat shirts and a status report on
the Hendricks’ tractors and club tractor. Manny club members stayed around and
socialized which made for a very enjoyable day. Door prizes
were won by: Jean Dubois (JD toy gator), Karen Corum (JD toy tractor set),
Charles Eagleburger (Whirly bird) and Gael Rasa (Whirly bird).
