National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame
Twenty people rode the light rail line to the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame on Sunday, June 1, 2008 for the club picnic/meeting with the picnic starting at 1:00 p.m. and the meeting an hour later. The food line consisted of a variety of meats, beans, salads and desserts with seconds for everyone since the crowd was a little light. We had great picnic weather. Topics covered included the following: (1) Approval of April 6 meeting minutes, (2) Tractors--July 12, 2008, (3) Dream Factory Tractor Cruise Follow up, (4) American Royal Parade---Sept. 27, 2008, (5) Missouri State Fair---Aug. 7, 2008, (6) November meeting place---Kenneth Mizer, Marshall, MO., (7) Elected Bob Antes as 3rd vice president to replace John Didde and (9) Sweat shirts and shirts were available for pick up. A financial report was not available for the meeting. Door prizes were won by Evan Pullian (Checker Board Set), grandson of Leigh and Margaret Arnett and Andrew Dubois (Toy Garden Tractor) Thanks for riding the light rail line today.
