MISSOURI STATE FAIR PARADE

The GKCTCC convoyed to Sedalia, Missouri for the Missouri State Fair
Parade on Thursday, August 7, 2008 with 13 tractors plus a gator making
the trip. The weather was great which made for an enjoyable time. People
bringing tractors included:Andrew and Jean DuBois, Wes Storm, Dan Hanna,
Glenn Ratzlaff, Tim Simmons, Don and Janice Hrabik, Cal and Cookie
Rothenberger, Bob Antes, Bill Eagleburger, Blake Eagleburger, John
Didde, Duane Craig and Kenny and Maxine Hooper. Following the parade the
group enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant. Thanks to everyone for
helping make the long “green streak” (John Deere) along with a dash of
red (Farmall).

P.S.--We learned on Aug.16, 2008 that the club won Second Place (Red
Ribbon and $50) in the Farm Machinery category. Congratulations to all.
