Overbrook KS - County Fair Parade

It was a parade that just about didn’t happen. We left in the rain and returned in the rain but the parade in Overbrook, Kansas started at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 15th under mostly cloudy skies with no rain.  Small town parades sometimes have unique entries such as a person riding an office chair pulled by a self propelled lawnmower or a purple John Deere D tractor and this had both.  This was a fun parade that was a part of the county fair.  Following the parade some of the group ate barbecue at the fair grounds before returning to the big city area.  Club members trying to stay dry included: Don and Janice Hrabik (JD 430 W), John Didde (JD 420), Wes Storm (JD G), Phil Addison (JD 420), Bob Antes (430) and Steve Suchsland (JD D with K State colors). Thanks to everyone for coming and Marge Suchsland for providing transportation as needed.
