It was very hot and humid when the parade finally started at 11:00 a.m. When the group started moving, it was apparent there were a lot of participants and spectators. Tractors in the parade included: Glenn Ratliff (JD A and 810 3 bottom plow), Vince Turley (JD 60), Dan Hanna (JD B), Donnie Miller (JD 60), Lawrence Walters (JD B), Bob Antes came with four tractors (3 JD 430 and a Farmall B) which were driven by his wife and other family members, Ken Hooper had three tractors (JD B, JD M and Farmall B) which were driven by his family, Wes Storm (JD D), Harley McElroy (JD 60), Ray Miller (Case 630), and Mr. Petrie (8N Ford w/Funk 6 Cylinder conversion). Ken Hooper’s family had four generations in the parade. Yes, the group won 1st place in the judges Special Award category. Thanks to everyone who brought tractors.
