Wow! What an exciting day on
Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame for
Tractor Daze. The weather was great
but a little on the warm side. Club
activities included a large tractor pull, a garden tractor pull, tractor display
(18), parade of power, and two pedal tractor pulls. It was a little hectic
getting it all in with the help we had, but we made it.
The club food stand had plenty of action because of the great turnout of
pullers. The large tractor pull
generated 106 hooks which made for a profitable day.
The garden tractor pull also came out in the black.
The two pedal tractor pulls (34 hooks) held in the barn were a great
success -- the air conditioned facilities didn’t hurt.
Hopefully with the great turnout it will help the Ag Hall.
A special thanks to Frank Van Fleet (grader), Mike Corum (pull back
tractor), and Joe Steineger (box blade and packer) for providing a great track.
Thanks to all the members who helped with the different activities.
