Western Farm Show

The GKCTCC rocket ship landed on February 24-26, 2007 at the Governor’s Building, Kansas City, Missouri.  It was an easy landing because rather than having a 40 ft. space, we had a 60 ft. display area which meant bringing in two more tractors.  Tractors on display included Kenny Read’s 1927 John Deere Corn Bore D, Joe Meyers’ 1960 John Deere 730 along with a  1937 John Deere B with No. 5 John Deere mower and Glenn Ratzlaff’s 1950 John Deere A.  Tractor pictures were displayed by Glenn Ratzlaff.  Two toy cases included toys from Don Hrabik and Richard Thompson.  Handouts included magazines from Green Magazine and Two-Cylinder.  Literature on the Dream Factory Tractor Cruise was also available.  The show was well attended on all three days with Monday being the day for area high school students.  There was great help from club members which made for an enjoyable time.  In fact one club member even gained a new nickname (Twinkle Eye).  Thanks to everyone who brought items for display along with all the great help in setting up, working the booth and tearing down.
