Nov. 16        Plow Day. Sachse Farm, Leavenworth, KS on November 16, 2024. We meet at the Quarry Entrance, 19691 Springdale Road, Leavenworth, KS (off 92 Hwy—just before the water tower and about 1/2 mile before you turn to Her-man’s house). Front gate will be open from 8:00 to 9:00 am, plowing to begin at 9:00 am. If you will be arriving at a different time, please contact Herman at 913-775-3353 or Kim at 913-775-0690 and they will meet you there to let you in. There will be plenty of room to unload your tractor/plow. Please let us know in advance if you are planning to attend and what tractor you are bringing. Kim is planning on serving Chili & Hot Dogs for lunch, so a head count would be greatly appreciated!

Nov. 9        Adrian, MO, GKCTCC Meeting, 10:00 a.m., Heritage Tractor. ***This has been moved to a Saturday morning to coincide with the Heritage Tractor location hours. We will meet in the meeting room above the parts department. Snacks and drinks are welcome at this location. The agenda for this meeting: 2024 Plow Day, 2025 meeting locations, 2025 Western Farm Show, Tractor Cruise, Raffle Drawing and Scholarship presentation, 2025 Slate of Officers, and 2025 Schedule of Events. Both of our scholarship winner are planning on attending the meeting.

Directions to Heritage Tractor: 13134 NW County Rd 31, Adrian, MO 64720. From the KC Metro: Take 1-49 South to exit 144 for State Hwy AA. Turn right (west) onto State Hwy AA and drive a short distance (maybe 1 block) to the frontage road, NW County Rd 31. Turn left (south) onto NW County Rd 31 and continue south for 1.5 miles to the dealership.

July 30, Tonganoxie, KS. Leavenworth County Fair Parade - 2024 Theme "Everything at a Fair Price". Contact Jeff Gast  (Note: Date has been corrected) We will meet at the Tonganoxie High School Football field (State Ave and Main St - 206 N Main St., Tonganoxie, KS 66086) at 5:30 PM and leave to line up by 6:00 PM. The parade starts at 6:30 PM.

HISTORY
The Greater Kansas City Two-Cylinder Club was organized in January 1990 and
was incorporated in the State of Missouri on May 17, 1994.  The purpose of
the club is to promote the interest and education of the public in the
preservation and restoration of antique tractors, particularly the JOHN
DEERE two-cylinder models, their accessories, lore, literature, toys and
memorabilia.
OTHER INFORMATION OF INTEREST
The club manages a tractor pull at Farm Heritage Days at the National
Agriculture Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, Kansas.  The club
also has fun-field days along with participating in the American Royal
Parade, The Dream Factory Tractor Cruise, and Western Farm Show

every year. We meet several times through out the year to exchange ideas
and information. A newsletter is produced regularly to communicate with the membership.

The Greater Kansas City Two Cylinder Club covers Eastern Kansas and
Western Missouri, and has members not only from the Kansas City area,
but areas from St Joseph, MO to  Nevada, MO to Topeka, KS.
